The Magnitude of Earthquake Coverage
The Illinois Emergency Management Agency is continuing to advise Illinois Residence of the likely hood that we too could experience a sizeable earthquake here in Illinois. Generally, this is not something we think about here in the Midwest, but the key to being protected is having coverage in place BEFORE something happens. Earthquake coverage is not automatically included in any homeowners coverage in Illinois. Earthquake coverage has to be added to the policy in addition to your base policy coverages.
